Five penalty goals won Racing 92 the match, despite Pau’s two tries. The scrappy win bumped Racing 92 from 10th all the way to fifth.

Racing 92 spent some time in the bottom half of the table and entered the match coming off a 45-21 loss to Toulon at the end of Round 7.
