Minnesota Wrestling is coming off one of its strongest seasons in a decade, tying Ohio State for fifth place at the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships. 

It was the team's best national finish under head coach Brandon Eggum, who enters his 10th year at the helm.

With four returning All-Americans and nine national qualifiers, Minnesota looks poised to stay near the top of the Big Ten and national standings.

The lineup blends experience and youthful firepower. Max McEnelly (184lbs) headlines the roster after an outstanding freshman campaign that included a third-place NCAA finish and a U20 World Team berth. 

Transfers Jore Volk (125lbs) and Chris Cannon (133lbs) bolster the lower weights, while Vance Vombaur (141lbs) returns as a two-time All-American. 

Veterans Andrew Sparks (165lbs), Clayton Whiting (174lbs), and Bennett Tabor (285lbs) anchor the core alongside U17 World champion Koy Hopke, who is expected to make his collegiate debut.
