After strong postseason momentum from last year’s fifth-place NCAA finish, coach Brandon Eggum's team opens the new campaign at the Southeast Open and Bison Open before heading to the National Duals Invitational in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they’ll collide with Virginia Tech in a field featuring more than a dozen ranked programs.

The Gophers also have representation at the NWCA All-Star Classic, where Vance Vombaur faces Virginia Tech’s Tom Crook in one of the premier matchups at 141lbs. 

Back home at Maturi Pavilion, Minnesota hosts South Dakota State, North Dakota State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Michigan State, building a home slate packed with conference contenders.

Trips to Iowa, Rutgers and Maryland round out a balanced schedule that will challenge every weight in the lineup.
