WNO 30 hits Pittsburgh tonight, October 24 and it's going to be an action-filled night at the Sunny Days Arena. After an undercard and main card, the event will be capped off with an all-new eight-man Open Weight Grand Prix featuring a variety of top brazilian jiu-jitsu athletes from across the world.

The tournament will feature stars from different weight classes and the winner will get to receive a title bout in a division of their choosing.

The event's card features 11 different grapplers that are in the top 20 rankings of their class, not to mention Sarah Galvao and Dante Leon who are in the top 5 pound-for-pound.

WNO 30 Adds "Call Your Shot Submission Bonus"

In addition to a Submission of the Night and Fight of the Night bonus awarded at the end of the event, athletes on the card will now have the chance to earn an extra payout through a “Call Your Shot Submission Bonus.”

Here’s how it works: before the event, each competitor can privately record a short video of themselves teaching a submission. If they successfully land that submission during their match, they’ll earn an additional monetary bonus.

The concept adds a layer of strategy and (hopefully) fun to the already high-stakes matches, rewarding creativity and risk-taking on the mat. Fans can expect more inventive attacks and a few surprise reveals once the submissions are hit and the videos are unveiled.
