Munster enters the contest with confidence, anchored by captain Jack O’Donoghue and a powerful pack that includes Jean Kleyn and Gavin Coombes. 

JJ Hanrahan starts at fly-half, joined by Ethan Coughlan at scrumhalf, while Alex Nankivell and Diarmuid Kilgallen link up in the midfield. 

The defending champions have been solid at Thomond Park, and this matchup provides another opportunity to build rhythm heading into the next competition block.

Connacht, led by new head coach Stuart Lancaster, arrives in Limerick with belief and balance. 

The visitors are captained by Paul Boyle and feature a dynamic back line, with Josh Ioane at fly-half and Cathal Forde in the centers. 

Both sides are eyeing crucial points in the standings, and the interpro intensity guarantees a physical, fast-paced affair under the lights.

Connacht head coach Stuart Lancaster said his team relishes the challenge of taking on Munster in one of the URC’s toughest away venues.

“An away interpro is one of the biggest tests in the BKT URC, so everyone’s looking forward to the game,” Lancaster said. “Munster are a top-class well-coached side, so firstly, we must play as well as I know we can. I’ve heard the Connacht supporters always travel in big numbers for these games, so I’m sure they’ll make their voices heard in Thomond Park and help us finish this first block of games on a high.”
