The top two sides in Gallagher PREM Rugby meet Friday night in the East Midlands, as the unbeaten Northampton Saints welcome high-flying Saracens to cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.

Through four rounds, the Saints have been the league’s most balanced outfit — leading PREM Rugby in scrums won (32) and dominant tackle contacts (55) — while maintaining their unbeaten record. 

JJ van der Mescht has been a force up front, topping all players in post-contact meters per carry (2.0), and Fin Smith continues to control games with precision, ranking among the league leaders in points and tackles made.

Saracens arrives fresh off a 65-14 demolition of the Sale Sharks, powered by a record-breaking five-try performance from Noah Caluori. 

The defending champions lead PREM Rugby in total points (168) and tries (24), driven by the dynamic form of Tom Willis, who tops the league in carries (65) and defenders beaten (35). 

Owen Farrell’s 20 successful goals also have helped maintain Sarries’ clinical edge.

Fraser Dingwall will make his 150th appearance for Northampton, while teammates Alex Coles and Trevor Davison reach 100 PREM Rugby caps. 

The Saints will look to maintain their perfect home record, while Saracens seeks to reclaim top spot in a matchup that pits the league’s most efficient defense against its most explosive attack.
