Just a month out, teams are looking to make last-minute climbs to secure the best position before the NCAA tournament. The Division III volleyball top 25 rankings underwent several changes as the thick of play continues.

No. 4 Wisconsin-Eau Claire returned to the top five, improving to 23-2. The top three — No. 1 La Verne, No. 2 East Texas Baptist, and No. 3 Wisconsin-Oshkosh — held their spots for the fifth consecutive week. Last year’s champion, Juniata, rounds out the top five.

Wisconsin-Eau Claire made an impressive climb to fifth in Week 3, but a 1-3 loss to Washington University sent the team into a brief backslide. This week, the Blugolds achieved their highest ranking yet at No. 4. They secured four straight victories, including a 3-2 win over No. 6 Illinois Wesleyan.

No. 8 Wisconsin-Whitewater, which started the season ranked second in the preseason poll, fell from fourth place. The Warhawks opened the week with a 0-3 loss to UW–Platteville in WIAC play. The shutout drove the team to their lowest ranking this season. Despite the setback, Wisconsin–Whitewater still earned a first-place vote.
