The Anchor-Bone Classic returns Saturday, Oct. 25 where rivals Ferris State hosts Grand Valley State. The action kicks off at 1 p.m. ET at Top Taggart Field in Big Rapids, Mich.

Every October, this rivalry lights up Division II football. The duel alternates between Ferris State’s Top Taggart in Big Rapids, Mich. and GVSU’s Lubbers Stadium in Allendale, Mich.

Since 2003, GVSU holds a 14-12 series edge, though recently the momentum has shifted. Ferris has won seven of the last ten matches. Last season’s Classic showed the rivalry’s magnitude as Ferris stunned GVSU 34-7 in Allendale before a sellout crowd.
