The 2026 NHL Draft is a long ways away, but it's never too early to start doing your homework. 

NHL Central Scouting recently released its preliminary watch list for the 2026 NHL Draft, detailing A-rated, B-rated, C-rated prospects and beyond. Hundreds of players made the initial list which breaks down players that NHL fans should be keeping track of over the course of the season.

Many, many of the players listed on Central Scouting's preliminary watch list are players you can watch yourself on FloHockey. In fact, 13 of the 27 players listed by Central Scouting as A-rated players -- players that Central Scouting believes are candidates to be picked in the first round of the NHL Draft -- play in FloHockey partner leagues. The OHL led the way with eight players listed as potential first-rounders.

An additional 32 players from Flo partner leagues were listed as B-rated prospects, or players Central Scouting views as candidates for the second and third rounds of the NHL Draft.
