FloCollege D2 Football Team Of The Week - Week 8

Dominant RBs headline this week’s D2 Football Team of the Week, led by Northern Michigan’s 200+ yard duo and massive games from Harding and Frostburg State.

It was a heater-of-a-weekend for running backs. Five appear on our D2 Football Team of the Week, but there are plenty of performances to choose from.

Two that stand out immediately are the twin 200+ performances from Noah Dobert and Jahi Wood of Northern Michigan, which led to the end of the team's 1,000+ days without a win. The Wildcats hadn't had a win since 2022, and those two backs stepped up big time, rushing for a combined 68 attempts.

Frostburg State is doing some really fun stuff. Two players from the Bobcats' win over Charleston WV show up on our team of the week, including quarterback Jordan Brooks. Brooks tossed for 389 yards and 4 touchdowns. I would be willing to bet the Bobcats show up in the FloCollege Top 25 this week.

Harding continues to bulldoze teams with rushing and defense, the ol' reliable stuff. The Bisons have two players on this week's team of the week, including Clark Griffin, who continues to be a tackle-hog, garnering 18 total tackles this week and a slew of other stats. Andrew Miller also shows up. The running back had 298 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Special honorable mention goes to Harding quarterback Cole Keylon, who will never have video-game numbers like a lot of these players, but runs the Harding offense to perfection.

Here's the full FloCollege D2 Football Team of the Week.
