Before the action gets underway, check out our preview plus predictions for all 14 boys high school weights.

A pair of 2025 U17 World champions headline this year's field at 106 lbs. In early August, Ariah Mills took home his World title at 48 kg, and just a day later, Keegan Bassett secured gold at 45 kg. Their potential showdown in the Super 32 finals would be one of the most highly credentialed bouts of the finals.

Before that matchup can happen, both Mills and Bassett will need to navigate tough paths through the bracket. Mills could see either #15 Luke Loren or #16 Connor Maddox in the round of 16 followed by either #8 Shiloh Joyce or #17 Hudson Chittum in the quarterfinals. His potential semifinal opponents include #6 William Soto and #20 Niko Odiotti. Maddox is the only opponent of that group Mills has faced in recent memory.

Bassett's road to the top of the podium could go through Nathan Schuman or Michael Bernabe in the round of 16, #9 Tyler Sweet or #12 Arav Pandey in the quarterfinals, and some combination of #7 Kooper Deputy, Jax Vang, and #11 Thales Silva in the semifinals. Bassett beat Kooper Deputy in the U17 World Team Trials finals and beat Arav Pandey at Elite 8 Duals.

Prediction: 1) Ariah Mills 2) Keegan Bassett 3) Kooper Deputy 4) Shiloh Joyce 5) Tyler Sweet 6) Thales Silva 7) Arav Pandey 8) Cruz Gannon

25) Jake Benyo, Hazleton, PA (10th grade)

26) Gabe Benyo, Hazleton Area, PA (10th grade)

The field at 113 lbs has 12 nationally ranked wrestlers but lacks a clear favorite. #6 Caleb Noble was a Super 32 champ last year at 106 lbs with a finals victory over Sean Kenny. That rematch could happen in this year's quarterfinals as Kenny holds the top seed and Noble is seeded 9th.

null

Other potential quarterfinal matchups include #8 Chase Karenbauer vs #10 Brandon Bickerton, #9 Killian Coluccio vs Liam Davis or #5 Thiago Silva, and Brayden Wenrich vs Cody Clarke or #13 Braiden Lotier.

Like 106 lbs, 113 lbs tends to be transient as wrestlers are often moving through the lighter weights rather quickly as they grow. Expect this bracket to get busted up with plenty of upsets throughout the weekend.

Prediction: 1) Caleb Noble 2) Sean Kenny 3) Chase Karenbauer 4) Liam Davis 5) Killian Coluccio 6) Brandon Bickerton 7) Anthony Garza 8) Thiago Silva

All three members of the 120-pound field at Who's Number One will be back in action at Super 32 this weekend. In addition to #1 Sidun, #2 Zinkin, and #3 Munaretto, this bracket contains 16 nationally ranked wrestlers including nine of the top ten.

There will be no shortage of highly ranked matchups at this weight, but Landon Sidun's dominant performance against Rocklin Zinkin at Who's Number One makes him the clear favorite to bring home his first Super 32 belt.

Antonio Mills and Paull Kenny just wrestled a barn burner at Who's Number One, but they're seeded to meet again in the finals of Super 32. This would be the fourth match between these opponents this year. Their first three meetings have been ultra-competitive, and all three have had dramatic conclusions.

Watch Antonio Mills vs Paul Kenny at Who's Number One

null

In order for Mills vs Kenny part IV to become a reality, those two would need to navigate a bracket that contains 18 nationally ranked wrestlers including U17 World medalists #5 Ignacio Villasenor and #8 Fred Bachmann. Villasenor had a victory over Mills at the U20 World Team Trials this summer, and Bachmann was a Super 32 champ a year ago.

Prediction: 1) Antonio Mills 2) Paul Kenny 3) Ignacio Villasenor 4) Fred Bachmann 5) Shamus Regan 6) Dominic Deputy 7) Mikey Ruiz 8) Justyce Zuniga

12 nationally ranked wrestlers occupy the 132-pound bracket at Super 32 including Who's Number One competitor and Michigan commit Moses Mendoza of Gilroy. Mendoza had a victory a while back against second seeded Keanu Dillard at Elite 8 Duals and split matches with #3 seed Ashton Besmer in California last season.

Wyoming Seminary's Dale Corbin has had a fantastic off season and seems poised for a big Super 32 performance. He went 7-0 last month at Elite 8 Duals and finished third in July at Fargo only falling to eventual finalist Isaiah Cortez.

33 different wrestlers earned seeds at 132 lbs, so don't be surprised to see plenty of early round chaos at this weight.

Prediction: 1) Moses Mendoza 2) Keanu Dillard 3) Ashton Besmer 4) Dale Corbin 5) Slater Hicks 6) Liston Seibert 7) Vance Jasinski 8) Nicholas Sorrow

DeKraker's top competitor may be Penn State commit Sam Herring of Bishop McCort in Pennsylvania. Herring has been a staple on the national scene for years and would love to finish his final Super 32 tournament with a belt. Herring and DeKraker met twice this summer in Fargo with DeKraker taking both bouts.

Another Penn State commit to keep an eye on is #9 Gavin Mangano who finished 6th at Super 32 a year ago but had to default in his fifth place bout. Mangano missed much of the freestyle season due to injury, but he may be poised to make a statement in Greensboro.

Prediction: 1) Tyler DeKraker 2) Sam Herring 3) Camden Baum 4) Gavin Mangano 5) Kai Vielma 6) Valentine Popadiuc 7) Derek Barrows 8) Dean Anderson

Brandt Harer enters his senior year with the chance to be one of the winningest wrestlers in PIAA history, and he holds the top seed at 144 lbs. His Super 32 bracket includes 13 ranked wrestlers, but he holds the top spot on the bracket.

One of Harer's chief opponents is 2025 Fargo Finalist Clinton Shepherd. The Indiana native reached the finals last year as a sophomore in the ultra-competitive single-class state championships. He was also a 16U Fargo champ in 2024.

The quarterfinal bout between California stalwart Joe Toscano and Poway's surgin Arseni Kikinou could set the stage for a budding in-state rivalry that West Coast fans may enjoy all season long. The winner of that quarter would likely see Harer in the semis.

Prediction: 1) Brandt Harer 2) Clinton Shepherd 3) Joseph Toscano 4) Tyler Traves 5) Michael Romero 6) Jesse Grajeda 7) Brady Hand 8) Arseni Kikinou

All eyes will be on the 150-pound division in Greensboro as #1 Bo Bassett has the opportunity to become the first ever four-time Super 32 champion. Yianni Diakomihalis had the opportunity to secure a fourth belt in 2016 after capturing his second Cadet World gold medal but did not compete. Later that year he underwent double elbow surgery and missed his senior season of competition.

For Bassett to secure a fourth title, he'll have to navigate a bracket containing 17 ranked wrestlers and eight of the top ten.If seeds hold, he'll see either Jackson Weller or #20 Hudson Hohman in the round of 16, #5 Charlie DeSena or #7 Justis Jesuroga in the quarterfinals, #9 Joseph Joyce or #12 Rocco Cassioppi in the semis, and either #2 Michael Turi or #4 Sonny Amato in the finals.

Despite the depth of competition, Bassett will still be a massive favorite to win this bracket due to his dominance against high school opponents over the last year. There will be plenty of intrigue around Bassett's bracket. He moved up to 150 lbs for Who's Number One after competing at 144 lbs as recently as Elite 8 Duals in September. Other than Hohman, who Bassett defeated in the PIAA finals, many of his potential competitors will be wrestling Bassett for the first time. Bassett's first Super 32 title came in 2022 at 113 lbs against Anthony Knox. A year later, he defeated Kyler Larkin in the semifinals and majored Sergio Vega 11-0 in the finals for his second belt. Bassett's third title might be his most memorable. He defeated rival Daniel Zepeda 10-7 in sudden victory in the rubber match of their series.

In Fargo this summer, 157 lbs was one of the rare weights in which the Junior and 16U divisions had similarly elite wrestlers at the top of the podium. Now, the best from both divisions will compete in the same bracket at Super 32.

#1 Cam Howard, #3 Asher Bacon, and #5 Justus Heeg finished in the top three spots in the 16U division while #4 Zeno Moore, #10 Reagan Milheim, and #11 Declan Koch all occupied the Junior podium. All six of them are slated to compete for the Super 32 belt in Greensboro.

This bracket could have incredible early action. Bacon and #8 Griffin LaPlante could meet in the round of 16 where Moore could see #15 Liam Kelly, Milheim could see #13 Bradley Williams, Heeg could see #6 Matthew Staples, and Koch could see #15 Lorenzo Alston. The action would only get crazier from there!

New York sophomore Camryn Howard holds the nation's top spot at this weight after his thrilling victory over Wyatt Medlin at Who's Number One. He will look to defend his ranking for the first time in this loaded weight.

Melvin Miller and Maximus Dhabolt just met for the fourth time in 2025 at Who's Number One, and they're the top two seeds at this weight. Miller won their first three meetings by tech, but Dhabolt narrowed the gap a bit at Who's Number One where Miller took a 19-8 major decision. Their rematch is possible but not guaranteed as 11 total ranked wrestlers occupy this bracket.

Dhabolt's run through the bracket could include seventh seeded #14 Nadav Nafshi in the quarterfinals and either third seeded #11 Travis Grace or sixth seeded #6 Maximus Fortier in the semifinals.

He could see Virginia Tech commit Jake Robie in the round of 16 followed by #12 Mario Carini in the quarterfinals and either #7 Mason Ontiveros or #5 Jayden O'Farrill in the semis. O'Farrill enters this tournament after back-to-back strong performances at Fargo and Elite 8 duals. He knocked off top-seeded Salah Tsarni in the Fargo finals and beat potential quarterfinals opponent Ontiveros at Elite 8.

Fargo drastically shook up the rankings at 190 lbs. Super 32 could solidify what we learned over the summer or could further throw this weight into chaos. Union County, Kentucky's Lucas Ricketts entered Fargo unranked, but his freestyle title earned him the #4 spot in the country. He holds the top seed here and also holds a Fargo victory over recent Iowa State commit #5 Jimmy Mastny.

Mastny, and #6 CJ Betz were the two wrestlers to finish Elite 8 Duals with 7-0 records at this weight, and they could meet in a top ten semifinal if they can get past other ranked wrestlers on their side of the bracket like #8 Michael White, #12 Mario Hutcherson, and #17 John Murphy.

Ricketts' tough potential opponents on the top side of the bracket include #13 Devin Downes and #15 Alex Reyes who he could see in the quarterfinals, and #7 Ryder Wilder or #9 Ladd Holman who he could see in the semis.

Prediction: 1) Lucas Ricketts 2) Jimmy Mastny 3) CJ Betz 4) Ryder Wilder 5) Michael White 6) Ladd Holman 7) Brady Brown 8) Mario Hutcherson

Maximus Konopka's 6-0 performance at Elite 8 Duals included several ranked victories that launched him to the #4 spot in the country. He holds the top seed at 215 lbs but will certainly be tested in Greensboro. His potential quarterfinal opponents include 215-pound 16U Fargo champ #16 Satoshi Davis and 190-pound 16U Fargo third place finisher #7 Peter Mocco. Should he reach the semis, he could face #5 Aiden Cooley or #8 Ronan An.

Both of those matches were freestyle bouts. The last time Mocco and Bechtold squared off in a folkstyle bout, Bechtold got his hand raised in the 2024 Super 32 finals.

Three other ranked wrestlers add depth to this bracket. #12 Kameron Hazelett, #18 Preston Wagner, and #16 Zayne Candelaria will all do their best to break up the Mocco vs Bechtold Super 32 finals rematch.
