4 Games You Can't Miss On FloHockey This Weekend: The AHL Is Here!
There's a full slate of must-see hockey broadcasting live on FloHockey this weekend. Here's where you should start if you simply can't pick.

It's one of the most exciting weekends of the season to tune in to FloHockey!
Parallel to the start of the NHL regular season, the American Hockey League (AHL) starts regular season play on Friday, October 10 and over the following 48 hours, fans can catch all 32 teams taking the ice to begin their journey towards the 2026 Calder Cup Playoffs.
The AHL joins the QMJHL, OHL, USHL, and many more leagues that already underway, broadcasting live and on-demand on FloHockey.

Who will win in the Calder Cup Playoffs Central Division semifinals rematch between Texas Stars and Grand Rapids Griffins? Will the Rochester Americans start their 70th anniversary season with a win over the Toronto Marlies?

4 Games You Can't Miss On FloHockey This Weekend: October 10-12
Friday, October 10: Toronto Marlies vs Rochester Americans, 7:05 p.m. ET
The Toronto Marlies head to Blue Cross Arena as the Rochester Americans kick off their 70th anniversary season featuring guest appearances by Hall of Famers Randy Cunneyworth, Jody Gage, Jim Hofford, and Steve Langdon.
The Amerks will also honor Hall of Famer Scott Metcalfe. Metcalfe was a first-round pick of the Edmonton Oilers and helped the Amerks to raise the Calder Cup more than three decades ago.
On the call will be the legendary voice of the Americans, Don Stevens, who is starting his final, 40th season with the team.
Friday, October 10: Abbotsford Canucks vs Henderson Silver Knights, 10:00 p.m. ET
The 2025 Calder Cup Champion Abbotsford Canucks fly to Vegas to retake the ice for their first game of the season against the Henderson Silver Knights.
Their banner raising will have to wait until October 24, as they begin their season with four games on the road: two against the Silver Knights and two against Laval. The team on the ice will look quite a bit different with a few players making the move up to Vancouver, but coach Manny Malhotra remains at the helm.
Saturday, October 11: Syracuse Crunch vs Hershey Bears, 7:00 p.m. ET
The Hershey Bears kick off the season with a home game, facing the Syracuse Crunch on Saturday night at Giant Center.
Head Coach Derek King makes his debut with a new, young roster filled with rookies. King made the move after being assistant coach for the Chicago Blackhawks from 2022 to 2025.
Saturday, October 11: Grand Rapids Griffins vs Texas Stars, 8:00 p.m. ET
In a rematch of the 2025 Calder Cup Playoffs, the Grand Rapids Griffins hit the road to H-E-B Center at Cedar Park to take on the Texas Stars in the Lone Star State.
In their previous meeting, the Stars came away with the victory, sweeping the series 3-0. After the promotion of Neil Graham to the Dallas Stars, Toby Petersen now steers the ship. Petersen was most recently a skills coach for the Colorado Avalanche. Many veterans return on the ice for the Stars and Griffins, including young all-star goaltender Sebastian Cossa for the Red Wings affiliate.
This game will be available live and free across FloHockey's social media channels including X, YouTube and Facebook.
