North Carolina A&T women’s basketball heads into 2025-26 looking to build on one of the program’s strongest seasons in recent memory.

The Aggies posted a 19-12 record and went 15-3 in Coastal Athletic Association play, finishing as one of the league’s top defensive and rebounding teams. Their success was defined by a scoring margin of +8.0 points per game and a commitment to controlling tempo.

Head coach Tarrell Robinson leads a roster that blends proven veterans with newcomers who bring depth and athleticism.

Returning players such as Chaniya Clark and Paris Locke anchor the frontcourt, while fresh faces like Londyn Walker and Crystal Hardy join the backcourt. Together, the group is expected to maintain the defensive standard that fueled last year’s rise while improving offensive efficiency.

The Aggies face a challenging non-conference schedule to open the year, including road trips to Liberty, Texas Tech and TCU. Hosting North Carolina in Greensboro stands out as a marquee matchup that will test the team’s balance and give fans a highlight early in the season.

Those games will serve as valuable preparation before another competitive run in the CAA.

Depth and Versatility on the Roster

The 2025-26 roster combines size and skill, from returning frontcourt standouts like Clark to versatile guards such as Walker. Robinson has multiple options to rotate depending on matchups.

Defensive Identity Remains Key

Last season, A&T held opponents to 55.5 points per game, besting them by nearly eight points on average. That defensive identity is central to the Aggies’ success.

Tough Nonconference Road Tests

The Aggies open with four straight road games, including Liberty, Texas Tech, and TCU. These early contests will be critical measuring sticks for the team’s development.
