Stony Brook men’s basketball fans will have no shortage of chances to follow the Seawolves throughout the 2025-26 season. After finishing 8-24 last season, Stony Brook looks to rebound under head coach Geno Ford with a roster blending returning youth and new depth. 

The Seawolves’ season tips off Nov. 3 against Farmingdale State with a series of home games at before hitting the road for a neutral site series in Florida to establish early rhythm before diving into Coastal Athletic Association play.

With CAA competition intensifying, every game provides a chance for Stony Brook to build momentum heading toward March’s conference championship in Washington, D.C.

The Seawolves former standout guard CJ Luster, who averaged 16.8 points per game last season and earned All-CAA Third Team honors, has left the roster. The team will have to adapt in his absence, particularly in their backcourt play where Luster thrived.
