While there were few shake-ups near the top in week 5, the latest FCS football rankings get much more exciting when you look further down the order where two teams took ten-spot drops.

The biggest winner of week five in the AFCA poll is No. 19 Youngstown State, surging up five spots after beating Towson on the road, 31-28. Another team with big gains was Monmouth after beating Villanova, grabbing No. 16 and five more spots in this week's StatsPerform FCS poll.

In both polls, West Georgia vaulted upwards after the Wolves grabbed a runaway win vs Eastern Kentucky, 33-12.

Villanova's loss to Monmouth was a pivotal early season CAA football match-up, dropping the Wildcats nine and ten spots in the two polls making them the week's biggest loser.
