Western Washington Joins D2 Women's Volleyball Top 25, Lynn Stays Perfect
Western Washington enters at No. 22 with an eight-game streak. Lynn, Central Oklahoma, Tampa stay perfect at the top of the D2 women’s volleyball rankings.

No. 22 Western Washington enters the top 25 with an eight-game winning streak and an 8-1 record.
Standout teams No. 1 Lynn (10-0), No. 2 Central Oklahoma (14-0), and No. 3 Tampa (8-0) kept their perfect seasons and held onto the top three spots.
The Western Washington Vikings haven’t lost since their opener against Cal Poly Pomona, who at the time was ranked No. 11 but has since dropped out of the poll. After a perfect run at the Aloha State Showdown, in which two of the four matches ended in sweeps, Western Washington entered conference play.
They opened with a 3-1 win over Northwest Nazarene and followed with a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Central Washington. The Vikings lead their opponents in kills 468-425 and aces 72-57.

Lynn rolled through the Hyatt Place Bash with all wins and now turns to conference play. Central Oklahoma swept the MIAA/GAC Crossover last weekend, winning all four matches, with the final three as 3-0 sweeps.
Tampa faced a tough challenge in No. 17 West Florida, earning a 3-1 win that underscored their strength against ranked opponents.
Northern State suffered its first losses of the season against Winona State (1-3) and Concordia-St. Paul (1-3), ending their eight-game streak. The Wolves dropped three spots from No. 15 to No. 18, while Concordia-St. Paul climbed to No. 13.
Gannon fell out of the top 25 completely after losses to Wheeling (1-3) and Fairmont State (0-3). Though the Golden Knights bounced back at the West Liberty Invitational with wins over West Virginia State (3-2) and West Liberty (3-0), it wasn’t enough to stay in the rankings.
