FloCollege D2 Football Team Of The Week - Week 3

Six QBs headline the FloCollege D2 Football Team of the Week, joined by standout RBs and defensive stars from Week 3 of the Division 2 football season

FloCollege D2 Football Team Of The Week - Week 3

Another week of D2 football, another week where I pick six quarterbacks for my offensive team of the week.

I'm sorry, but if you know D2, you know "quarterback" can also mean "running back" but, in truth, it can also "touchdown machine," which is certainly the case this week as these six quarterbacks combined for 27 touchdowns.

Clarion is on our watch list, as the Golden Eagles have jumped to a 4-0 record, and for the last two weeks, appeared right outside our Top 25. Their success is due in large part to Anthony Guercio, who has already cleared 1,000 yards, along with 9 touchdowns.

Two players from Indiana PA also appear on the offensive team of the week, as quarterback Matthew Reuve slung 443 yards and 6 TDs--4 of those touchdowns, and 173 yards, reached the hands of Maurice Massey.

Special shout out to Ferris State freshman lineman Maurice Adams, Jr., the proud winner of the prestigious Big-Man Touchdown of the Week, an unofficial award that I just created.
