Week 3 of the college football season is quickly approaching. With a weekend full of football kicking off on Sept.20, the FloCollege team is eager to see the matchups take place and let you know who they picked to win big in Week 3.

All three divisions of NCAA football are on the list of picks this week and with so many contests a few of the most notable come to mind. Kicking things off with the D1 matchups on the horizon, it is a "Battle of the Islands" as Long Island University takes on Rhode Island. Also on the D1 landscape is Villanova taking on Monmouth and North Carolina Central taking on North Carolina A&T. 

In D2, Lenoir-Rhyne and Carson Newman face off in a South Athletic Conference matchup. Lenoir-Rhyne currently leads the SAC with a 2-0 record. Also on the docket for D2, the Lone Star Conference continues conference matchups as Western New Mexico takes on Angelo State. UT Permian Basin and Texas A&M Kingsville will also square off in LSC play. 

Last but certainly not least, the D3 teams get some action in FloCollege picks this week! The biggest D3 matchup of the weekend sees Johns Hopkins and Susquehanna go head to head in a top-five matchup according to the D3football.com rankings.
