The Colorado Eagles have been the AHL Affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche since 2018, but their history goes back to 2003, when they were founded as a CHL team. The Eagles have now played in the CHL, ECHL and AHL, winning titles at two of the three levels.

The Eagles won two Ray Miron President’s Cups, the CHL title, and two Kelly Cups, the ECHL title. They’re still on the hunt for their first Calder Cup but have some work to do, only making a few rounds deep.

After finishing first in the Pacific division, their best finish in AHL regular season play, Colorado lost in the second round to Abbotsford in five games. The Abbotsford Canucks would go on to win the Calder Cup.
