The Providence Bruins are the AHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins and have been since 1992. The Bruins have won one Calder Cup, taking the trophy home in 1999, after winning a league-high 56 regular season games.

In the 2024-2025 season, the Bruins took third place in the Atlantic Division, and won their preliminary round playoff series, but fell to the Charlotte Checkers in five games in the first round. The deepest run they’ve made since winning the Calder cup was to the third round, and they last reached that stage in 2017.

Ahead of the 2025-2026 season, the Bruins have signed several players to add another layer of excitement to their existing roster.
