The Springfield Thunderbirds, the American Hockey League affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, are preparing to start the 2025-26 season with the goal of a deep playoff run.

The Thunderbirds, who play in the AHL's Atlantic Division, are looking to advance past the first round of the Calder Cup playoffs with a roster led by top prospects from the Blues' organization. The team plays its home games at the MassMutual Center.

Among the key players is forward Dalibor Dvorsky, the No. 10 overall pick in the 2023 NHL draft. Last season, Dvorsky recorded 21 goals and 24 assists and is a candidate to be called up to the Blues.
