The Toronto Marlies, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, enter the 2025-26 season aiming for another postseason run after a first-round playoff exit last year.
Under head coach John Gruden, the team will again compete in the AHL’s highly competitive North Division. The Marlies play a critical role in the Maple Leafs' system, developing top prospects and providing organizational depth.

What Was The Toronto Marlies Record Last Season?
The Toronto Marlies ended their season in the First Round of the 2025 Calder Cup playoffs to the Cleveland Monsters. They finished the regular season 35-26-5-6 with 81 points and 5th in their division.
Who Is The Head Coach Of Toronto Marlies?
The head coach of the Toronto Marlies is John Gruden. He has been the coach since July of 2023. He is the eighth coach in the club's history and was previously an assistant coach with the Boston Bruins and New York Islanders.
