The Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas opened their season in dominant fashion, defeating Lincoln (CA) 60-12. The Javelinas put together 478 total yards of offense while allowing just 288 and forcing five turnovers. 

Louisiana Tech transfer Jack Turner was officially named starter earlier this week, he did not disappoint, throwing for 278 yards and four touchdowns. While the Javelina offense worked, the defense did its part, getting off the field quickly and giving the offense good field position. 

The Scott Parr era started with a dominant win, and the Javelinas are looking to keep the win streak going and compete for the Lone Star Conference title.

In the third quarter, the Oaklanders started to find their offense, putting one touchdown from scrimmage on the board and a pick six. The Javelinas are still in control and are looking to cruise through the final 15 minutes.
