NE10 Women's Soccer Preseason Poll: Franklin Pierce Favorite For 2025
The preseason coaches poll is out before the 2025 NE-10 women's soccer regular season play begins in early September. Watch it all live on FloCollege.
Defending Northeast-10 Conference Champion Franklin Pierce is named the preseason favorite in the recent coaches poll, earning 78 points and six first place votes. Close behind stands Adelphi University who tally in at 76 points and four first place votes.
Both Franklin Pierce and Adelphi have proven themselves strong programs in recent years, with Adelphi making an appearance in the past three NE10 Championship games and Franklin Pierce staying in the top four NE10 rankings for the past five years.

The NE10 season kicks off Sept. 4 in a game between St. Michael’s and Millersville.
For Franklin Pierce, the 2024 season was one for the books. Earning their first NE10 title since 2018, they also made it to the NCAA DII semifinals. The team now sits at sixth in the NCAA DII preseason poll. The team is helmed by Matt Johnson who is on his sixth season with the team.
Adelphi trails Franklin Pierce, but not by much. Their program has seen consistent strength for the past few years and sits solidly at 17th in the NCAA DII preseason poll. A key to their success this coming season will lie with players Kayleigh Goodrich, Gia Mandile and Madison Apicella. The trio was responsible for two-thirds of the team’s goals in 2024.
