NCAA DI Women's College Soccer Rankings This Week: Stanford Takes Top Spot

The latest rankings from the United Soccer Coaches have been released. See where the cards fell in the women's college soccer rankings as of Aug. 25.

Since the first games kicked off on August 14, it's been an exciting start to the 2025 NCAA women's college soccer season. 

The United Soccer Coaches released an early season poll on August 25 showing significant shakeups across the board. Several teams made big moves, like No. 2 Tennessee jumping from 6th to 2nd, just one voting point behind No. 1 Stanford at the top despite receiving one more first-place vote.

This is the first time Stanford has been in the number one spot in the United Soccer Coaches poll since the beginning of the 2024 season, when they held the honors for almost all of September.

No. 13 Georgia, No. 16 Georgetown, and No. 17 Mississippi State earned spots in the teens after not being previously ranked by the poll with No. 13 Georgia (3-1-0) owning the one loss between the three of them.
