In one of the most highly-anticipated events of the day at the 2025 Diamond League Silesia, Jamaica's Kishane Thompson defeated American Noah Lyles in the 100M dash, getting revenge from the Paris Olympics. 

A star-studded event, Lyles came in second, and after a dramatic race at the 2025 US Championships, Kenny Bednarek was right behind him in third place.
