After a 5-7 2024 season, the Maine Football is looking to use their veteran roster to have a winning season. With graduate student Carter Peevy returning to lead the Black Bears offense, Maine has all of the right tools to succeed in 2025.

The Black Bears are returning several top players on both sides of the ball to support Peevy, who is looking to use his fellow veterans to lead Maine to victory. Returning to the Black Bears are Molayo Irefin, Nick Laughlin, and Trey Ewing, and Scott Woods is coming to Maine from Harvard. 

While the defense suffered more losses than the offense, there are some key returning players looking to make an impact. Christian Thomas, Devin Vaught, and Jamaree Gibson are the top returning defensive Black Bears and will be guides for newer players.
