The Abbotsford Canucks and Charlotte Checkers are neck-and-neck in the 2025 Calder Cup Finals, but it won't be for long.

Following a dramatic double overtime 4-3 win for Abbotsford in Game 1, Charlotte remained resilient in Game 2, forcing overtime once more to get the 3-2 victory and level the playing field. Now the tie must be broken in what will undoubtedly be another grueling battle on the ice on Tuesday.

What has made this series particularly exciting to watch is Canucks goaltender Arturs Silovs making saves like clockwork and the Checkers defense minimizing their opponents' time of possession. During Game 2, Silovs made nearly 40 saves, while his offensive counterparts were held to just 13 shots on goal.

The hustle that both teams harbor will make this year's Calder Cup finals one that fans won't want to miss out on.
