Bo Bassett is one of the biggest names that wrestling has seen in years.

With an undefeated high school record, medals in the U17 and U20 World Championships, and a social media following larger than many others in the sport, Bassett is a wrestler whose name will continue to appear in headlines.

FloWrestling's No. 4-ranked high school wrestling prospect in the nation, and a multiple-time PIAA State champion, Bassett has the ability to back up any talk surrounding his strength.

Despite a stellar record, Bassett has faced some challenges outside of his high school career, including a recent loss at the US Open Wrestling tournament.

However, as Bassett has done before, he bounced back and wiped through the consolations to claim third place.

The US Open is one of the first stops on the path of the World Team Trials, serving as one of the most important events of the year for wrestlers around the country.

Bassett's battle will continue as he heads to Louisville for the next stop of the trials where he will fight for a spot in Final X.

Who Will Bo Bassett Face At The Wrestling World Team Trials?

Bassett is up against a stacked roster of wrestlers in the 65-kg weight class.

While official brackets aren't out just yet, we've been seeing entries roll in for a few weeks.

Among the top talent Bassett may face are No. 2-ranked Marcus Blaze, NCAA Champions Seth Gross and Jesse Mendez, All-Americans Real Woods, Brock Hardy, and standouts Aden Valencia and Carter Young.

What Is Bo Bassett's Record At The World Team Trials?

Bassett has not competed in the World Team Trials before, but competed in the Last Chance Olympic Team Trials Qualifier.

While he was able to tech NCAA Champion Anthony Ashnault, he lost in the final match against Matthew Kolodzik.
