The 2025 CIF California High School Wrestling State Championships begin on Feb. 27 in Bakersfield, Calif.

The Mechanics Bank Arena will watch as 14 weight classes each of boys and girls wrestlers battle it out for a shot at the state title.

In the 2024 CIF Wrestling Championships, Poway High School and Gilroy High School claimed three championship wrestlers each. 

132-lb Elias Navida, 175-lb Angelo Posada and 215-lb Robert Platt secured a title under Poway, while 138-lb Daniel Zepeda, 144-lb Moses Mirabal and 285-lb Cody Merrill secured titles under Gilroy.

Similarly, 105-lb Anaya Falcon and 110-lb Deandra Meza claimed state titles for Walnut High School in the 2024 Girls State Championships.

With 28 total weight classes of wrestlers ready to face off to secure a championship win for their school, here's everything you need to know for the 2025 CIF California High School Wrestling State Championships.

Session I Thursday, Feb. 27

• Girls Championships begin at 9:00 a.m.
• Boys Championships begin at 12:00 p.m.

Session II Friday, Feb. 28

• Consolations begin at 9:00 a.m.
• Quarterfinals begin at 1:00 p.m.

Session III Saturday, March 1

• Consolations begin at 9:00 a.m.
• Semifinals begin at 10:30 a.m.

Session IV Saturday, March 1

• Championship Finals begin at 6:15 p.m.
