Limestone forward Richard Nunez has been named the South Atlantic Conference Varsity Gems Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for games played during Week 4 of the 2022-2023 season, the conference announced Monday.
Nunez, a senior from North Miami Beach, Florida, led the Saints to a pair of wins, including a 102-98 overtime SAC win over Emory & Henry last week.
He averaged 18.5 points, eight rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks per game for the week.
He recorded a team-high 26 points in the win over Emory & Henry and added six rebounds, a steal, an assist and two blocks.
